BOSBERAAD

Swartland Chronicle

A 'bush meeting' in Afrikaans. What it really refers to, in a more philosophical sense, is 'an organised gathering in a neutral, quiet location - away from noise and distraction - where challenges can be resolved through constructive dialogue and collaboration.' A meeting in the bush where all elements come together as a wine.

BARTÀS

Stellenbosh Chronicle

A ‘walk through the bush to find your way ’ in French (Occitan) slang. The essence it encapsulates is that ‘going off normal routes, facing obstacles, encountering challenges is frequently necessary to reach your destination ’. A beautiful metaphor of Paulus Wine Co journey.

bindu

Olifants River Chronicle

Bindu means ‘the point of origin’, at once the beginning and the destination. From the meeting (Bosberaad), to the wandering (Bartàs), to the arrival (Bindu), the circle is complete.
